Haynesville Shale Maps in East Texas

Here's a Haynesville/Bossier map I recently found.

H.S. Map

This is a map of "organic" natural gas charged shale.

H.S. activity map overview.

This is good EXCO map.

Notice that EXCO believes they have between 2-5 Trillion cubic feet of natural gas in just their yellow areas.

This map is from the Dept. of Energy. This map represents where they believe there needs to be more natural gas lines.

This is that new Tiger Pipeline (48") that will be open in summer of 2011.

CenterPoint Energy pipeline

CenterPoint Energy inked a deal with Chesapeake Energy Monday that will have CP carrying CHK's Nat.Gas to and from Carthage Tx & Perryville La. They add a new compression station at each terminal for the extra capacity.

With this said, CHK is planning on over 1.25 BILLION cfd/e out of our wells in the Haynesville! The country as a whole only uses 7 billion cfd/e lol.

I got the heads-up (from someone who should know) that WE ARE going to replace a large portion of our 18 wheelers (diesel engines) with Nat.Gas engines starting in 2010. The interstate truck stops will be the first to put in the new pumps (gotta like that.)
